Documents can be faked. A working factory floor is much harder to fake. I visit your supplier in person, see how they really work, and send you a photo report with a clear recommendation.
What I Check On Site
- Location and identity: the factory exists at the stated address, and its signs and licences match the company you are paying.
- Production: production lines, key equipment and its condition, and what is actually being made that day.
- Capacity: workers on site, shifts, typical output, and whether your order fits.
- Quality control: incoming material checks, in-process and final inspection, test equipment.
- Subcontracting: signs that key parts or whole products are made somewhere else.
- Management: a meeting with the owner or general manager whenever possible.
Machinery and Industrial Equipment
I focus on machinery and industrial products: excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, forklifts, tractors, electric motors, generators and pumps. In Shandong alone there are clusters of machinery makers in Qingzhou, Jining, Laizhou and Weifang, and many trading companies there present themselves as factories. On site I look at what matters for machines: welding and assembly lines, where engines and key components come from, testing, and stock of finished units.
What You Receive
- A written report in English with timestamped photos and short videos
- Findings on capacity, quality control and risks
- A clear recommendation: go ahead, go ahead with conditions, or walk away
Price and Scheduling
From US$299 per factory, plus travel at cost (train and hotel), quoted in advance. I'm based in Xi'an and travel by high-speed rail. Factories in the same area can be visited on one trip to save cost. Send me the factory names and cities for a fixed quote.
