Before you send a deposit, find out who you are really dealing with. I check your supplier against official Chinese records, look inside the factory on a live video call, and tell you in plain English whether it's safe to go ahead.
US$79 per supplier · US$60 each for 5 or more · Report in 3 to 5 business days · Pay by PayPal or Wise
What I Check
| Check | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Business registration | Is the company legally registered and active? Do the name, address and legal representative match what the supplier told you? |
| factory or trading company | Business scope, production licences, number of insured employees and the site address show whether they make the product or resell it. |
| Legal and risk records | Court cases, enforcement orders, administrative penalties and "abnormal operation" listings. |
| Live video walk-through | I call the factory in Chinese and ask them to show the production line, key equipment and finished goods. |
| Decision-maker contact | The owner's or general manager's contact, or at least the factory's own export manager. Never a trading agent. |
How It Works
- Send me the supplier's name, website or Alibaba link on WhatsApp or by email.
- I confirm the price and what can be checked. You pay by PayPal or Wise.
- I check the records and arrange the video call with the factory.
- You get an English report with findings, screenshots, a risk rating and my recommendation.
Who It's For
- Importers buying from a Chinese supplier for the first time
- Buyers of machinery and industrial equipment: excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, forklifts, tractors, motors, pumps and generators
- Anyone who found a supplier on Alibaba, Made-in-China or at a trade show and wants a second opinion before paying
Good to Know
- Your identity stays private. I contact the supplier on behalf of a buyer and don't share your company name unless you want me to.
- If the supplier refuses a video call, you still get the full records check. A refusal is itself a warning sign, and I'll explain what it may mean.
- This is an independent check to support your purchasing decision, not an official certificate.
- For large orders, add an on-site factory audit.
