I'm Bruce Zhang, based in Xi'an, China. For the past 3 years I've worked in B2B export of industrial electric motors, handling inquiries from buyers all over the world. Our two-person export team shipped about US$3 million of motors in 2026.
Working with Chinese factories every day taught me how to tell a real manufacturer from a trading company, and where foreign buyers usually get burned. Now I use that experience to check suppliers for importers who can't come to China themselves.
I work for the buyer only. Factories don't pay me, so my report tells you what I actually found.
Company name, website or Alibaba link. English, Spanish or Portuguese is fine.
I confirm the price on WhatsApp before I start. Pay by PayPal or Wise.
Registration, business scope, insured staff, court and penalty records.
I call the factory in Chinese and ask them to show the production line.
English report with findings, screenshots, my recommendation and the decision-maker's contact.
For larger orders I audit the factory in person or inspect the goods before shipment.
Supplier verification is US$79 per supplier, or US$60 each when you check 5 or more. An on-site factory audit starts at US$299 per factory, and a pre-shipment inspection at US$299 per man-day, plus travel at cost. You get a fixed quote before any work starts. See all prices.
The supplier's company name (English or Chinese), and its website or Alibaba link if you have one. If the supplier sent you a business license, quotation or contract, send that too, plus a short note on what you plan to buy.
A supplier verification usually takes 3 to 5 business days. The records check is quick; the video call depends on when the factory is available. On-site audits are scheduled as soon as travel allows, and the report follows within 2 business days after the visit.
No. I am paid only by the buyer, and I never accept money or gifts from suppliers. That is the only way my findings can be on your side.
In most cases, yes. I ask for the owner or general manager and check that the person matches the legal representative in the official records. When the owner does not deal with export directly, you get the factory's own export manager, never a trading agent. The report says clearly which one it is.
Yes. Records checks and video walk-throughs work for any company registered in mainland China. For on-site audits and inspections I travel from Xi'an by high-speed rail anywhere in mainland China, with travel at cost.
