Who I Am

I'm Bruce Zhang, and LocalAuditChina is my independent supplier verification service. I'm based in Xi'an, China.

For the past 3 years I've worked in B2B export of industrial electric motors for a leading Chinese motor brand. My job is handling inquiries from buyers all over the world, and our two-person export team shipped about US$3 million of motors in 2026. That means I deal with Chinese factories every day: specifications, test reports, production schedules and export documents.

Why I Started This

Foreign buyers keep running into the same problems: a "factory" that turns out to be a trading company, a business license that belongs to a different company, a supplier that disappears after the deposit. From inside the industry, most of these warning signs are easy to spot. From abroad, they are almost invisible.

So I check suppliers for buyers who can't come to China themselves, with a focus on machinery and industrial equipment.

How I Work

• Paid by the buyer only. I never take commission from factories, so my findings are on your side.
• Official sources first. I check registration and court records in Chinese government databases, not just the documents a supplier sends you.
• Eyes on the factory. A live video walk-through for every verification, and in-person visits when the order justifies it.
• Your identity stays private. I contact suppliers on behalf of a buyer and don't share your company name unless you want me to.
• Plain answers. Every report ends with a clear recommendation: go ahead, go ahead with conditions, or walk away.

What I Am Not

LocalAuditChina is not a certification body and does not issue official certificates. My reports are independent findings to support your purchasing decision.
