Will the supplier know that I ordered a verification or inspection report on them?

BruceZhang 2026-08-21 FAQ 349

For company verifications and supplier risk reports, no. These are conducted entirely through        official Chinese government databases and commercial intelligence sources. The supplier has        no visibility into who searches for their registration or court records — the same way a        company cannot tell who looks up their public filing in any other country. For factory        inspections, the situation depends on your preference. An announced inspection requires us        to contact the factory to schedule access, which means they will know in advance. An        unannounced visit avoids this, though access is less guaranteed. We will discuss which        approach makes more sense for your situation before proceeding.
